Mother of Pearl Vodka of the Sea is honoured to have been awarded a silver medal at the IWSC (International Wine Spirit Competition) 2022.
The IWSC awards are held in high regard amongst the global wine and spirit industry. The silver medal recognises the brand among UK and European spirits industry leaders.
“We only entered the 2022 awards to receive industry feedback and gain tasting notes,” said Nic Hancock, CEO of Mother of Pearl Vodka. “When we received the news that we had been awarded a silver on our first ever entry, we were astounded and obviously very proud of the industry recognition of our smooth and creamy vodka.”
IWSC Tasting Notes: Creamy note with toffee, chocolate, and apple sweetness. Lemon candy, mint, and jelly on the palate with hints of white pepper.
Mother of Pearl has been invited to attend the awards ceremony in London on the 29th Sept this year. Nic will attend, and as a sponsor of the awards evening Mother of Pearl will feature advertisements in both the Awards Programme and Tasting Booklet and an exclusive gift has been designed for the over 500 goodie bags.
The IWSC has been incredibly supportive of Mother of Pearl’s visit to the UK and has booked Nic’s diary full of meetings with key distributors, PR agencies, and logistics agents. The interest from the industry has peaked toward Australian spirit offerings and there is a heightened interest to represent new premium vodka brands in their markets.
