New Zealand-based fintech startup Investify recently launched a new solution for wealth management professionals to help them become 5X more efficient in finding undervalued companies by cutting down the time and cost to research and analyse stocks by up to 80%.

After receiving funding from Callaghan Innovations, a New Zealand government agency that supports businesses with global ambitions, Investify developed algorithms to aggregate financial data to create insights on public listed companies. Additionally, using advanced technologies such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Optimal Character Recognition (OCR), the Artificial Intelligence (AI) functionality of Investify reads through hundreds of pages of documents such as annual reports to extract and summarise the reasons behind a company’s financial metrics such as revenue going up or down in one simple concise paragraph. This helps users to save time on reading a huge number of documents and have insights on companies that are not well covered by analysts and hence not in the limelight.

Some of the benefits of the platform include:

  • Cross-market comparisons of over 10,000 stocks across the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand stock exchanges
  • Powerful smart screeners to find stocks based on value or yield at the click of a button
  • Aggregated recommendations from over 100 + top analysts
  • Ability to generate self-branded research reports through automation

Investify already has strong relationships in place with data providers such as Factset and is supported by the New Zealand stock exchange.

The company is actively seeking to establish partnerships with brokerage houses, wealth advisory businesses, and financial software providers and talks are already underway on new opportunities in Australia and the UK.

Why Are Fewer Companies Going Public?

The number of companies listing on the ASX has declined, driven by access to private capital, regulatory burdens, and market volatility. However, public markets still offer liquidity, visibility, and robust capital-raising opportunities.
