Limestone Coast Brewing (LCB) offers investors a unique opportunity to benefit from the rise and rise of craft brewery venues.

After establishing the business model in Perth city venues, Limestone Coast Brewing is pleased to announce a strategic contract win with Goldfields Brewing Co (GBC) that takes craft brewing to regional Western Australia. The alliance establishes a unique craft beer venue in Southern Cross, which is the gateway town to WA’s famous goldfields region.

Goldfields Brewing Co (GBC) is an enterprise owned by Paul Hanna, who acquired the Club Hotel in Southern Cross and commenced major renovations. He purchased an 8-tank craft brewery system from Limestone Coast Brewing and has entered into long-term contracts to purchase the liquid wort brewing product from LCB, which the Goldfields Brewing Co team then ferments and brews to create the finished beer, utilising the advanced controls technology provided.  This approach has enabled GBC to obtain their own ATO manufacturing license and qualify for the excise rebate which is worth up to $350,000 per year.

Paul Hanna is also a significant shareholder of Nu Fortune Gold. When Paul was on the board of Nu Fortune, he and the other directors decided not to invest in another mining camp for the gold mine, but opted instead to invest in the region and revitalize hotels and facilities within the town to cater for the increased work force and boost the local economy.

This significant development is a major step forward for the region. It means that GBC can manufacture product on site and not only service their own needs, but also distribute packaged product into their local regional market competitively and profitably using the technology from Limestone Coast Brewing.

The LCB brewing system is a game-changer for the hospitality industry, enabling smaller operators to get into the lucrative craft beer market, be competitive, and make very good margins – all at a fraction of the start-up expense and venue space of a full brewery.
