PPS – a Global HDPE Pipe Disruptor
PPS aims to be a major disruptor in the global HDPE pipe market. Its mobile HDPE pipe extruding technology provides significant benefits relative to conventional pipe manufacturing processes and logistics. HDPE pipe is industry-standard for the transfer of liquids globally and is widely used in mining, agriculture, infrastructure, and water projects.
Its modularised, fully mobile, and road-approved HDPE pipe manufacturing and extrusion system produce and lays pipe to required specifications on-site. It delivers superior quality, and a financially and environmentally more cost-effective pipeline installation than factory-manufactured HDPE pipe, which is cut into short lengths to allow transportation via long-haul truck to site where the pipe is manually laid and welded at regular intervals.
PPS’s pipe installation is smooth and continuous with minimal welds, reduced pipe transport and labour costs, and operates on a 24/7 basis. This in turn, delivers overall safety enhancements to any project, due to the material reduction in site personnel, transport, and handling requirements.
Polyline Pipe Systems Managing Director Ian Dorrington said.
PPS is delighted to enter into this Alliance with the Karlayura Group, who we see as an ideal partner for our business in the globally significant mining district in the Pilbara region of WA. The Karlayura Group is an established and respected provider of people and services to the mining and construction sectors in the region, and the opportunity to partner with them to establish a new HDPE pipe industry in the Pilbara has the potential to deliver major benefits for both parties. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial working relationship with them.”
Karlayura Group founder and Managing Director Brian Tucker said.
“The opportunity to work with an innovative, emerging Western Australian company like Polyline Pipe Systems is highly exciting for the Karlayura Group. The ability to deploy their pipe extruding technology in a variety of settings in the Pilbara region will deliver significant community benefits, including jobs and training for our local workforce. As PPS’s technology is deployed in more projects over time in the Pilbara, these benefits will magnify as it will provide more opportunities for members of our local community.”
